I prefer my A-7 for lightness and convienence of use.
My A-10 is next but you have to take it appart to grease the main shaft, it get complicated.
My MA-2 has the best averager but it is heavy.
The Kollsman periscopic has the electronic averager so is the best but too big to use in a small plane (unless you cut a hole in the overhead ot are in an open cockpit.)did I mention heavy?
