Thanks for the info, I did get the A8. It should be interesting putting together a presentation on this for the local EAA chapter.

I have a Kollsman I bought several years ago, and it is heavy. FYI the 28 volt version runs nicely off of three 9 volt batteries in series, just snap the neg and pos terminals together and split a connector to connect to the end terminals.
