Contrary to the claims of the influencers of the AI hype, in serious research AI is no help - or even misleading - as Art has demonstrated. I tried it out in my field of interest (early instruments of navigation, XVI th century navigation) and got some very strange results, which I published in a note in the latest 'Mariner's Mirror'.
