Tony,
The same name contrary name is traditional for the standard tables but your suggestion is good also. What ever prevents mistakes for the navigator is the best way.
I have in my pocket one more all haversines method... A Sumner LOP can be plotted between two time sights so the all haversine time sight will work for this. Just shift the latitude 10' and run the reduction again. Plot the solved longitudes with their respective latitudes and connect the positions to form a Sumner LOP.
