Re: Is All-Haversine SR the be-all and end-all?

    Dear Greg,

Thank you for sharing your opinion.

Why do you think so? Is the all-Haversine SR "too complicated" still? Or not difficult enough?

The only reason to keep with something really difficult/comprehensible is wanting to stay privileged among the crew - with a chest of HiTec instruments and Sacred Scriptures? Yes, replacing all that with a tiny booklet (of nat-Haversine tables) and an Almanac, being able to do the math in minutes rather than in hours of laborious work - this could harm one's position in the eyes of the crew.

    Regards,
    Tony
