I don't know anything more. I'm encouraging skepticism. I think it's clear that they don't license any portion of the official Nautical Almanac or other similar data sources. They also provide no evidence that there's anyone on their team with more than basic familiarity with nautical almanacs. I have had inquiries from two of their team members which are amateurish. I have also seen at least one case where they re-published copyright-protected material without attribution and with the original copyright notice excised, which is sleazy. None of this is fatal, but I, for one, am skeptical.
