    Antoine, I don't get it. I think you're agreeing with David Pike here. Alnair is not quite visible. Both of you are saying it's just behind the slope of Mt Fuji on the right side near the snow line. I agree, too!

    And isn't it remarkable how strikingly easy it is to identify Grus from that stream of stars? Those are faint stars, but they're easy to spot in photos and in the real sky, too, if the limiting magnitude is low enough.
