The basic board looks very much like the US Navy plotting boards used in aircraft during WW-II and other variants thru to the VN War including the reverse side of the Polhemus computer. I have seen them for sale on eBay and they frequently come with instructions.
They do not have a separate "Time Scale" ruler - I am curious what that is used for. Is it a measure of time/distance for use with running fixes?
