In superimposing one image over the other, as with a planet or star. When this is done, the CENTER of the body has been observed, and NO CORRECTION is APPLIED for SEMIDIAMETER ( or irradiation, phase, or augmentation). There is NO CORRECTION for DIP ( or sea-air temperature) when the artificial horizon is used.
