Re Bygrave formulae
Great to hear that it is not just the accuracy of the Bygrave slide rule but also the better accuracy of the formulae that helps explain the good results with the Bygrave.
Do any of you maths gurus know whether/how the Bygrave formulae could be adapted for the lunar clearance (I currently use the modified cosine formulae as per John Karl’s book, but perhaps the Bygrave formulae would do it better?)
