Thank you for your feedback! I was too much focused/relying on the math, and on the signs for W and E. I came to a similar conclusion after thinking it through over weekend, making a simple drawing for GHA and HA (which I should have done at the very beginning...). This (rather simple) exercise, together with your explanation of the relatitviy of the signs for W and E, was a good lesson.
