Earhart's passport showing that she was five feet eight inches tall, two inches taller that the person whose skelton was found on Nikumororo. Gillespie claims that she lied about her height. I'm sure that guys might lie about it, claiming to be taller but it seems unlikely that a woman would do that. Her pilot certificate has the same height.
