I recently found an interesting starmap or sky chart project. It was created in javascript using some interesting libraries nearly eight years ago. It's called "Interactive Skymap" (I think), and it was developed by Olaf Frohn. You can experiment with it here:
https://armchairastronautics.blogspot.com/p/skymap.html,
and you can download the complete code and data from his GitHub archive. This app and its output are not astrometric quality, but it's nice for visualization and basic displays. There are no navigation star lists, but if you can code even a little, that would be an easy addition. Data files are in common json format.
At minimum, it's a fun toy, and it's getting me thinking... :)
