Blue skies today so I am using the anti-spoof app for its main purpose - checking sights. The optics on my sextant do not work very well and I think a part is missing. I am not using optics or a sighting tube and am looking throught the telescope mounting ring at the horizon mirror. The app is proving very useful, allowing me to check the accuracy of my sights without having to reduce them.
I am getting errors of betwween 1' and 3' which I am very pleased with. Not only is this a measure of my ability to take sights but also my ability to count to ten!
