Re: Any reliable computation of terrestrial refraction?

    Dear all,

Siebren van der Werf, a retired nuclear physicist, has written a couple of articles about atmospheric refraction, especially in relation to questions of navigational history (also mirages and green flashes). He has also published an article about the use of lunars by Joshua Slocum. He may not be well known on the other side of the Atlantic.

If you are interested look it up on his web site:

    Regards
    Wolfgang
