Hello!
I'm a flightsimmer from Sweden. I am mainly into 40's and 50's civil aviation, including navigation. I fly airliners such as the DC-6 and the Constellation on long haul routes. I have created a nav log spreadsheet for MS Excel that does all the calculations for wind correction angles, speeds and distance and so forth. My question is if I can integrate Astron 1.15 in my spreadsheet and use as an engine for celestial computations. Is that ok? Credits for the work will of course be given!
You can read more about my nav log here: Self calculating navigator's log - The A2A Simulations Community
A celestial navigation tool has been around for a long time for use with MS Flight Simulator 2004 and Flight Simulator X. A new addon for the latest MS Flight Simulator has been released recently and you can find out more here: Demonstration of astro navigation using MSFS - The Amelia Earhart flight. - YouTube

Mats
