In mid-October, four months ago, Ed Popko sent his last NavList post taking note of news coverage about the end of Canadian time signal "pips" (like the BBC pips, these are not for navigation). You can read his post here: https://navlist.net/Canada-abruptly-ends-time-signal-EdPopko-oct-2023-g54788. There were no replies at all, and he died three weeks later. Very sad.
