My basic, minimal celnav kit cost less than $50. Davis 111 (ok a few years ago was about $30, casio watch about $10. (now less). calculator about $6. Can be done.BN,Fuller and Bygrave slide rules cost virtually nothing to make.(just time, but fun!).
