I asked AI to generate an image of a man using a hand bearing compass...several times.
A billion dollars worth of networked computing power, and it generated laughable images. It didn't know what a hand bearing compass WAS. The best it could do was turning a simple magnetic compass perpendicular to the earth and having somebody hold it up to his eye.
