Mine is a mechanical automatic with sweeping second hand and a GMT hour hand. I monitor its daily error and although the error can fluctuate, it is typically losing less than 5 seconds per day. My small SW receiving radio picks up WWVH time signals (from late afternoon onwards) for checking. My home port is in 37S 145E.
