Dear David,
I dare to comment:
- you forgot a chronometer and a protractor
- you do not need a roller rule, as a set of a plain rule and a triangular one allows to do the same job; a protractor may be on the triangular rule - saving even more storage space
- you do not need plotting sheets, here is the trick
