Here is an example for the other side of the pond. These working notes are closer to how I do Hav Doniol. Generally I use an undex card. One side of an index card is enough space to complete a sight reduction. This leaves the other side for the plot.
If you don't like the longhand 4 place multiplication step then I suggest an Otis King slide rule to stay non electronic. I cheat and use my Casio calculator watch for this step.
