    1. No. It is a simplex design, where all the scales are on one side. I think most of the rules that had scales on both sides of the slide were more generalized. Since Bob’s configuration is pretty specialized, it wouldn’t make sense to have to pull out the slide and flip it over during calculations. Of course additional scales could be added on the back of the slide, but then you'd have to make it even thicker and it’s already nearly a half inch(12mm) thick.
