SLIDE RULE EMULATOR.
Following Bob Goethe's suggestion, a slide rule simulator is not quite the correct description, so I have renamed it a "Slide Rule Emulator". I have posted it on a child folder of Astron.
Run it from https://www.vigilanceofbrixham.co.uk/Astron/SlideRule/SlideRule.html . Then right click and "Save As" an html page if you wish to use it offline.
There are no user notes. Just drag slider or cursor as required. Zooming looks great. When the rule exceeds screen size, scroll with the bar at the bottom of the screen.
This version now has a plain background behind the slider. Sean's excellent pictorial hints are available earlier in this thread. Anyone can edit the (now blank) area of the image file "Source/Frame.png" to add an aide mémoire, photograph of your boat, or whatever else you prefer.
Happy sliding!
