    For instructional use, I think the sextant correction tables in the Air Almanac are better than the ones in the N.A. because the latter tables combine various correction so that the student doesn't get a good understanding of what is going on.  I prefer the Air Almanac all around and its precision is appropriate to use of HO 249 and forsmall book navigation. I suspect that people stick with the N.A. due to tradition without ever hearing about the A.A.
