Hi guys. Its me, Francis Upchurch.Long term Navlist member. The slide rules and sextant are mine.
Incurable, progessive illness and the financial chaos that is UK force me to sell at highest price I can get., which I hesitated to do with Navlist .Dont worry about the quality of the Bygrave. You will not easily find better. Ive seen several and this is the best. Gary LaPooke and I did a re-enactment of Chichesters crazy Norfolk Island flight a few years ago with identical perfect results.Do call if you want to discuss.I've got watts app for video conference if that helps.
Let me know if interested.
Best to all

Bob Crawley you wrote: A very nice Bygrave has appeared on ebay in the UK along with a Fuller and an Astra Sextant. Were circumstances different I'd have snapped up the Bygrave but I suspect others may be interested.

It does like nice, almost too nice. I'm a bit worried about the end label. The two earliest Bygraves which I've seen had the actual number inked onto the 'Number' box. What do others think? Nevertheless, It might well go for more than the statring price. It's amazing the number slide rule collectors there are out there if not celestal enthusiasts. DaveP
