I can’t stand it any longer!
On eBay there’s a new looking G.Hechelmann Hamburg 37055 Marine Sextant listed for the third time.
On the right end of the arc is a discrete C+P which led me to their site and it matches their “lower” end models exactly. There was a previous discussion here where someone decoded the (DM?) stamp and that matches also.
It’s listed as Buy It Now US$592+ $24 from India. Several other ship breaking (?) sextants are listed by the same seller.
I don’t need number 10, or whatever I’m up to now.
