I have looked at many sextants on eBay. Detail images always help you sell such as closeups of mirrors, mirror frame clips or adjustment screws, filters, arc tangent screw, adjustment knob and Virnier if any any electrical things like battery box and connectors, paint finish etc.

Also box conditions and accessories are imporant to include. Documents like index errors, or old sales or fliers are fun too.

Photos tell your potential customer you are not hiding anything and if it's is excellent condition, it will bid up fast as the auction draws to an end.
