Steve, I look at those mer-pass tabulated times as a purely informational notice, just a hint, because all the relevant information is to be obtained from the main almanac's table. Deciphering the Moon rise-set times for an arbitrary longitude is far too tricky, it is much easier to use the 2102-D starfinder (or similar like a celestial glode) to solve such problems.
