Bris calibrations can be performed in half the time using an artificial horizon. More arithmatic but there is quite a bit of net time savings. Can be done anywhere with no concerns regarding height of eye or perpendicularity. It will be necessary to fill the liquid reservoir completely full to observe lower altitudes.
