I just did a practice reduction with my fx-300 es entering latitude D°M'S" as X , declination DMS as D, and LHA DMS as M. Then entered the expression:
(Arc Sin (((cos X)(cos D)(cos M)) - ((sin X)(sin D)))) ° ' " = Hc in DMS and got the correct answer vs smart phone app.
