I found these two references, which may be of interest

    First reference:

the Eastern entrance to Rotti Straits, with the
    following magnetic bearings —
Nataaa Point (N. point of Lando Island)—K.
    70-, W. 13 miles.
    Oysina Point (S.W. point of Timor)—N. 39',
    W. 11 miles.

    Second Reference:

    Korti and Timor Island.
A reef which breaks heavily at times lies in
the Eastern entrance to Rotti Straits, with the
    following magnetic bearings :- .
Nakasa Point (N. point of Lando Island)-N.
    70-, W. 13 miles.
    Oysina Point (S.W. point of Timor)-N. 39-,
    W. 11 miles.
A white patch of cliff on Timor Island-N.
    39-, E. 13 miles.

Rotti Island and Straits are just to the SW of Timor Island.
