Phil You'd unlock the simulator from its case, lift it by the handlebars and place it over the dome of the KS-120/KS-140 star tracker. In other words, the interface is on the bottom of this thing, like in Frank's drawing. Whether it fits over the MD-1 I can only guess at. The square base with orange rubber feet is, I think, not part of the instrument, rather it's part of the case. I don't think the small prism-port is the main interface to the star tracker. An inspection port? Luc
