It seems to me that α Cas is missing in the iPhone picture. Could it have fallen victim to the hot-pixel elimination algorithm?
If that's the only anomaly, I don't think it's a major issue for automated navigation, as long as the matching algorithm is aware that not all stars may be pictured at all times, for reasons of cloud or overzealous postprocessing, or any other.
