A few years ago I built these almanacs for the WW2 years while playing Silent Hunter 4. I figured out how to pull the sub's position out of a saved game file and put it into a freeware planetarium program. (Stellarium). Navigated around the game using celestial nav. It is similar for aircraft.
I am also including a Powerpoint of basic aircraft navigation, A virtual presentation I gave to our local EAA Chapter last month.
