    Geocentric semidiameter. See page 402 in his Spherical Astronomy book:

    My program is (almost) an exact implementation of the Chauvevet
    formulas. Only refraction is different. But in tests, my refraction
    model was very close to the Bessel model used by Chauvenet. There should
    be no practical difference.
