I received quite a few suggested additions to the navigation chronology, attached is the first update to the original post. New items are in shown in bold blue font. Contributors and topics pending are listed below. Any suggestions appreciated.
I will look for a way to distinguish exact years, circa datas, century references, approximate and prior-to.
Dealing with history is an imprecise art at best.
