    Collimation Error on C&P Plath
    From: Greg Rudzinski
    Date: 2019 May 9, 07:13 -0700

Frequent switching of optics and sight tubes on my C&P Plath caused the scope mounting bracket screws to unexpectedly loosen. Quite a few observations were made before I noticed that there was a problem. The field of view and collimation had covertly shifted on me. The solution was to snug up the two screws on the scope mounting bracket.  While I was at it the two horizon mirror bracket screws were also snugged up then index error was rechecked before proceeding to the next observation.
