Thank you for taking the time to respond.
You seem to agree broadly with what I actually wrote, as opposed to what others may have thought I meant.
Please connect with my post of 14 Jan 2019. I am using the spirit of your forum to envisage short cuts that my great-grandfather, master of his trade, might have used to reduce calculation when it suited him, as do I. I have inherited his genes which make simplicity a bonus, and leave more time for fun, whilst still understanding the professional procedures.
