Thanks for the pdf. I last saw a copy of this book over four decades ago when I borrowed it from a local public library. I have since acquired a paper copy of The Complete Nautical Astronomer but for a long time have wanted to re-read Cotter's History.
I had a look on ebay but decided that for the asking price I could probably complete my collection of the Admiralty Manual of Navigation from 1916 until the Admiralty was subsumed into the MOD in the 1960s/70s(?).
