As I understand it the items in a Faraday cage need to be wrapped in an insulator too. I believe a Ziploc bag would do double duty preventing moisture ingress. Caveat here is that the insulator needs to be inside the metal enclosure so if you want to protect the tin from moisture, you need a 2nd Ziploc around everything.
