The discussion of most of the population in daylight and navigation slide rules reminded me of this device.
Since night and day radio propagation is different, it's useful to be able to see such images.
This was a sliderule like device, and I'm attaching a photo of a couple of slides I have left.
The back and the May slide disappeared behind a wardrobe when I was on the Isle of Man operating
in 1999.
