I'm glad you found the NavList message boards. I'm sorry I couldn't chat longer when you phoned the other day. I agree with your basic plan for finding Venus in daylight. I haven't checked your chosen stars or times. I really expected other NavList members would reply to you, but, as I mentioned to you, NavList has been in decline for several years.
Other NavList folk: can anyone help her out? Any experience with actual daytime Venus sights at sea? And how about the stars she proposed for Venus alignment in her post?
