Thanks, Herman, for the insight on the fx-260. I was looking for it and could not buy (under this name).
Now I am totally satisfied with Casio fx-85ES PLUS which is labeled "NATURAL-V.P.A.M". It allows for the whole Law of Cosines formula to be entered - and solved in a single go. With ability to recall the operation from the history (of operations).
If you stored the input values in the A,B,C...F registers - you just update their contents and re-run the calculation without the need to re-enter the formula (which, of cause, must reference those registers!).
VERY handy. Second only to a programmable calculator.
