Derivation of the time-azimuth formula

Greetings,
I have been able to derive the two primary celestial navigation spherical trigonometry formulas (computed altidude (Hc) and Azimuth (Z) angle using Hc) from first principles. I am trying to do the same for the "Time-Azimuth formula". Bowditch citation below: [attached]
I have not been able to derive this formula and would welcome any assisistance the NavList community could provide.
