Reference your post yesterday showning the relevant paperwork for the Mk5 Stadimeter. That's a great find Chuck. I'd forgotten so much US patent information and Government documents are now available online. It'll take a while to wade through, but first examination looks like the NavList combind explanation got pretty close in the end. DaveP
