Absolutedly no problem. I agree with you.Not sure how/when we started the drift off course. I agree with Sean, we should try to change title and not just use the "reply" button, which I think made the problem worse.
If you have a side interest in graphical methods, would appreciate your view on whether the Kelly method for lunar clearance (see discussion with Henry) could be adapted to find Hc from known LHA, Dec and DR Lat? Kelly wrote this up in 1796, way before Sumner and St Hilaire etc, so I guess he never thought about using it for Hc?
