I found this when looking for North Sea Charts but it got addictive - beware.
This was an interesting find at the Univerity of Utrecht. They claim it's the earliest such Atlas. Unfortunately, one of the many languages I can't read or speak is Dutch, especially 16th century in blackletter type. However, I think:
Using the book page numbers (easiest to download pdf)
p 8 looks like the epact for each year enabling the date of Easter to be calculated
p 9 looks like a table to calculate the lunar Meridian Passage for a date.
p16/17 Star Tables
p18 Not sure - Right Ascension of Sun?
p21 Star Chart
p23 Looks interesting but have not figured it out yet
p26 Steering directions from Holland?
p32 Directions
p34 Tides for ports?
p36 Sailing directions
pdf page 72 Solar Declination
pdf page 74 looks like the establishment of ports, or areas, enabling tides to be calculated from Meridian Passage.
there are some beautiful charts of the North Sea and Atlantic at the end.
It's downloadable as a pdf.
