I'm teaching "Easy Introductory Celestial Navigation" this coming weekend, Sep. 29-30, at Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, CT USA. While most Navlist members would find this a bit basic, please spread the word to anyone you may know with an interest in an introduction focusing on latitude at noon and longitude by sights near noon as well as other easy tools for wayfinding.

PS: Yes, it's true: Mystic Seaport now has online registration for classes. It's clunky and needs work, but functional. This fulfills one of my principal recommendations dating from the the year 2002. Took a while, huh?!
