At 00:00 UT on 1 Sep 2024, the GHA of the Sun will be 180°00.0'. In other words the Sun will be "on-time". The Equation of Time will be zero. This only happens a few times during the year, and it's rare that it happens at such a memorable time on a memorable date. So here's a challenge: what short, memorable rule could you write down for the Sun's GHA for the week or so centered on September 1?
